In the wake of a robbery last month at a Union City, Ind., business, the Chamber of Commerce is working with both Union City mayors and both Union City police chiefs to provide a Business Alert Plan.
Union City Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Cheryl Williams says that she expects to present the program to the Union City, Ind. City Council on Monday, Sept. 9, at 6 p.m. She also expects to present it to the Union City, Ohio, Village Council Monday, Sept. 16, also at 6 p.m.
?Basically, the alert system was developed if a crime is committed in our area. This would allow business owners or managers to be on the alert,? Williams said.
