Amazing footage of the ever-growing fire that is spreading farther into Yosemite National Park.

The Rim Fire, which is burning in parts of Yosemite National Park, is now more than 192,000 acres in size. The morning update on the InciWeb site reports that the fire is 30 percent contained but that there was ?active fire behavior through the overnight hours. Night time fire intensities were increased compared to the previous two nights.??
Yosemite National Park staff published a time-lapse video of the fire, as seen from various vantage points within and around Yosemite, and the footage is amazing. It is hard to describe a wildfire to someone that has never seen one in person, but this video helps the public grasp the raw power of Mother Nature.
