Motorola announces a trio of Razr Android phones

In an event today, Motorola announced a new family of RAZR smartphones, almost a year after the company relaunched the line. Upon launch, the three new devices will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS)???an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update is coming by the end of 2012?? with Motorola's skin on top. While these phones?don't run pristine Android like Nexus devices do, you still get all ICS (and later Jelly Bean) features, including a stock Chrome browser.?

1. Droid Razr HD
The Droid Razr HD has a 4.7-inch high-definition (HD) display and is powered by a dual-core processor. During the event, Motorola emphasized its considerably impressive battery power, claiming it can last up for to 16 hours of talk time, 10 hours of video playback, or 6 hours of web surfing.?

2. Droid Razr Maxx HD
The Razr Maxx HD is pretty much the Razr HD with an even more juiced up battery. According to Motorola, it can last up to 13 hours of video playback and up to 8 hours of web browsing.?

3.?Droid Razr M
The Droid Razr M is the trio's smallest sibling, featuring a screen size of 4.3-inches with super-thin borders. It's powered by the same dual-core processor as the other two in this list and has an 8-megapixel camera and 1GB of RAM.

All three have 4G LTE connections for high-speed mobile internet on the go, but as we've learned when the new iPad was released, that's?not always a good thing. They will all be available from Verizon before holiday season begins. Preorders for the Droid Razr M will begin later today and will set you back $99 with a two-year contract. It will be available in stores on September 13. Motorola will announce the Droid Razr HD's and Razr Maxx HD's prices and release dates later this year.?
